This Privacy Notice describes how IntelliPest ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares personal information when you use our website, mobile application, and AI pest identification services (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this notice. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Data we collect

We collect the following categories of personal information:

  • Account data — email address, password (hashed), and any name or profile information you provide.

  • Payment information — Paddle, our Merchant of Record, handles payment card details and billing address. We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers.

Where applicable law requires it, we process personal data on the following legal bases: performance of a contract with you, our legitimate interests (in operating and improving the Service and preventing abuse), your consent (where required, such as for certain marketing or optional features), and compliance with legal obligations.

5. Who we share data with

We share personal data only as needed to operate the Service and as described below:

6. Data retention

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes above: account and content data for the life of your account plus a limited period afterwards for backups and legal compliance; lead submissions for as long as needed to follow up and satisfy record-keeping obligations; and log data on a rolling basis (typically up to 12 months). When no longer needed, data is deleted or anonymized.

Personal data may be processed in countries outside your own, including the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms) to protect your data during international transfer.

9. Security

We use appropriate technical and organizational measures — including encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege permissions — to protect personal data. No system is completely secure; if we become aware of a security incident affecting your data, we will notify you as required by law.

10. Cookies and similar technologies

We use strictly necessary cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and to operate the Service. We do not use advertising cookies. Any analytics we use is limited to aggregated usage counts needed to run the Service. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
